Wax Facets

Partnered with one of the original creators of the Wax digital exhibit platform to build a new Wax theme supporting faceted browsing.

This project was made possible in part by the Institute of Museum and Library Services, RE-73-18-0059-18.

Responsibilities:

• Primary developer for proof of concept exhibit using faceted browsing; proposed feature for core Wax and volunteered to partner on development
• Met weekly with collaborator (Alex Gil) and employed paired programming to develop a new Wax theme from scratch, including updated layout components and faceted browsing
• Help troubleshoot issues submitted by user community
