Data Visualization Coordinator

As Duke University’s first Data Visualization Coordinator, I was responsible for developing, marketing, and providing the library’s first data visualization services.

As a doctoral student at Indiana University, I assisted with or taught several course for the Master’s programs in the School of Library and Information Science.
August 2008-August 2011
During my doctoral degree program, I worked as a research assistant for my dissertation advisor, who entrusted me to act as her proxy and work independently on various research and teaching activities.
July 2006-July 2008
I worked for two years as one of a very small team of staff maintaining arXiv.org, blending diplomatic communication skills with technical expertise in order to support arXiv and suggest improvements.
