Places & Spaces: Mapping Science, Exhibit Organizer

January to April 2015
I coordinated a campus-wide exhibition of the Places & Spaces: Mapping Science exhibit, bringing together many campus partners and organizing a series of public events.
Support from Duke University for the exhibit came from: Information Science + Studies; Duke Institute for Brain Sciences; Bass Connections, Brain & Society Theme; Office of the Vice Provost for Research; Information Initiative at Duke; Duke University Libraries; Data and Visualization Services; and Scholars@Duke.
Responsibilities:
- Raised funds from campus partners to cover exhibit costs
- Identified and secured exhibit locations in campus buildings
- Received, unpacked, and installed exhibit items
- Scheduled, organized, advertised, and hosted exhibit-related events
